Client is one of the nation's largest nonprofit providers of skilled long
term nursing care. Looking for Licensed PT in the State of Colorado,
Registered OT in good Standing with NBCOT, or SLP with completion of CCC's
and accredited by ASHA. Five years experience in discipline with two years
in a management or supervisory capacity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Plans, schedules, organizes, directs and oversees all rehabilitation
services and operations in the Facility.Acts as primary liaison for
Rehabilitation Department and other departments within facility. Coordinates
closely with Therapy Clinical Manager regarding all clinical operations;
including, but not limited to, caseload development and clinical program
development. Defines and reviews program goals within Rehab Department and
facility. Assists with onsite screening to identify appropriate patient
referrals to the Facility and Rehab Department. Coordinates PPS processes
within Rehab Department and Facility including DART management. Attends
facility meetings or assigns a representative representing the Rehab
Department and reports back to Rehab department including, but not limited
to facility IDT meetings, management meetings. Therapy department meetings.
Keeps current with Medicare and other third party regulations and
guidelines. Assures adherence to State and Federal regulations within the
Rehabilitation Department. Monitors program effectiveness, compliance and
patient outcomes for rehabilitation department, including, but not limited
to managing productivity standards, End of Month reporting and other
management reports. Assures and monitors for timely completion of
documentation, MDS responsibilities and PPS tracking systems per facility
policy and procedures. Assures that patient treatment is the most cost
effective method possible by monitoring productivity, budget compliance and
equipment acquisitions. Completes employee performance reviews (including
evaluations, conduct issues, routine reviews and terminations) and consults
with Regional Rehabilitation Director regarding performance evaluations as
appropriate. Determines staffing needs, staff scheduling, and vacation
coverage in conjunction with Other Therapy Supervisors and Regional
Rehabilitation Director.
Coordinates therapy personnel participation on appropriate committees and
meetings. Implements all policy and procedures pertaining to the
rehabilitation staff. Assists with orientation and training of new
rehabilitation staff. Directs efforts to educate community members,
physicians and other health care providers regarding the services provided
by the Facility.
Recruits, hires, reviews performance and terminates rehab department
employees in coordination with the facility ED and Regional Director of
Rehab Services.

QUALIFICATIONS- Masters degree in nursing or current enrollment in MSN program required. Minimum of three (3) years of continuous full-time employment, preferably in the area supervised. At least one (1) year of adult instructional experience. Practical experience in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited university required, Doctorate in Nursing or related field preferred
2. Minimum of three (3) years of continuous full-time employment, or two to three (2-3) years of
administrative/supervisory experience. Preferably at the college level. Preferably in the area supervised.
3.Two years full time teaching experience in an approved nursing education program at or above the Associate Degree level.
4. Organizational skills and management experience including fiscal control.
5. Experience in academic administration, accreditation, and teaching at the collegiate level are essential
6. Documented experience in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
7. Documented knowledge and skills related to teaching adults and teaching methodology.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9.Possess or be eligible for Utah registered nurse license.
10. Experienced in all aspects of program assessment. NLNAC experience preferred but not required.

Requirements: M.D. or D.O. with American Board of Pathology board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology. 5+ to 7 years of experience, Management Experience Required with Minimum Education - Doctoral. Willingness to Travel - Occasionally Expertise in immunohistochemistry, tumor biomarkers, and clinical chemistry testing Familiarity with molecular pathology tests using different nucleic acid-based methods Experience in assay development and implementation in a CLIA laboratory environment Laboratory Director experience in anatomic and/or clinical pathology is highly desirable
