QA Lab Tech for the Dry Products food production line. Performs a limited number of lab tests on products to determine that they are in conformance with formula specifications and requirements (e.g. density, moisture, diameter, protein etc.). Uses a variety of test instruments and test equipment. May maintain charts, graphs and statistical records for causes of defects and makes recommendations for process controls. Set up products and equipment for testing in proper sequence. Conduct tests for stated criteria. Note deviations in performance to test results. Assist QA coordinator and work closely with production operators on the manufacturing floor. Assist in changeovers and sanitation efforts. Maintain and implement programs to improve quality. Investigate customer complaints. Manage and resolve non-conformance issues. Assist in implementing Food Safety and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Programs. GED or equivalent required. 1-3 year’s prior experience in quality assurance and/or food science required. SQF (Safe Quality Food) training a plus; knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, Microsoft Office, Better Process training. Experience with outside audits (Cook and Thurber, AIB, Silliker and SQF). Experience in the food industry and dry feeds or cereal experience preferred.

Quality Assurance Manager at the Utah canned food manufacturing plant facility responsible for quality assurance and process control specifications and testing activities. Implements techniques and processes for testing and inspecting products and process controls. Conducts research and recommends appropriate changes in methods and procedures. Investigates causes of failed tests, faulty work, scrap, rework, inspection holds and takes proper corrective action.
Provide input and assist with implementation of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) certification. Assist and oversee work of QA Coordinator and QA Lab Tech employees. Assistant Plant Manager to assist in leadership of all production operations at the Utah site. Under direction of the plant manager and working through team leaders, oversees operations of the Dry, Canned and Baked food manufacturing lines. Responsible for meeting customer and quality requirements, leading teams in product and process control, practicing SOP’s and coordinating all production support and systems activities. 170 f/t employees, 150 temps, 3 shifts (baked), 2 shifts (dry and canned).
Develop a work environment of continuous improvement and lead problem solving activities, new project and process implementation. Partner with Purchasing to ensure raw ingredients and packaging meet requirements and are in place for production. Partner with quality and food safety to ensure SOP’s are in place and in practice, critical control points are managed and sanitation is effective. Partner with engineering and maintenance to ensure equipment is designed and functioning to specifications. Lead people and teams to ensure skills are appropriately applied, learning and development are occurring and proper levels of self-discipline are maintained. Manage and resolve non-conformance issues. Investigate causes of faulty product and take proper corrective action. Monitor scheduling and production of all three plants, including materials, manpower, equipment, ensure all lines are operating efficiently and effectively.
BS degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent required. 5-10 years’ experience in production management in a food manufacturing plant required.

#122- 7- Maintenance Manager: direct team of 6 to 8 Maintenance Mechanics in a high volume manufacturing environment (liquid packaging lines). The Team Manager is responsible for providing leadership and day-to-day management of manufacturing activities for the designated liquids team to ensure outstanding safety, cost, quality, and manufacturing execution. The Team Manager will manage the performance of 13 associates which includes maintaining associates files, developing and training of associates and managing their time off; managing a production floor with 5-6 filling lines and support equipment; and overseeing safety, quality and productivity initiatives along with working with other departments/areas, specifically blending, blowmolding and supply, to drive high performance and team work. The plastics department manufactures blow/injection molded bottles. The Team Manager will manage the performance of 11 associates. We are looking for an experienced executive who has deep experience with the creation of hardware and software product solutions working with global ODM partners. The Supply Chain Operations leader will report into the head of the Product Operations Group. This group is responsible for delivering the right products, to the right place, at the right time, in the right quantities, at the right cost & at the right levels of quality. The Supply Chain Operations leader must have proven experience in delivering product solutions to market with/through ODM partners on time - on budget. Responsible for - Leading the Supply Chain Operations team that is comprised of: Partner Business Managers who manage the relationships with our key partners; Procurement and Materials Planning/Management; Systems Integration Testing; Program Management and Demand/Supply Planning. Developing & implementing the ODM partner strategy based on company objectives and priorities. Determine how many ODM partners are needed to cover the Company’s product portfolio, evaluate partner choices and make the recommendation on which ODM partners make sense for company’s business.
